| Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes at the University
of Delaware—These membership organizations are for adults 50 and over to take classes,
teach, and exchange ideas. No grades or
exams, no educational prerequisites, just
learning for the fun of it.

Wilmington—Established in 1980, the Wilmington
program is located at 2700 Pennsylvania
Avenue.

Lewes—Established
in 1989. Located at the Lewes School;
some classes in Rehoboth.

Dover—A
new program located at the Modern Maturity
Center in Dover.
The
University of Delaware is proud of its history
as one of the earliest and largest lifelong
learning programs in the country. Founded
as the Academy of Lifelong Learning and
the Southern Delaware Academy of Lifelong
Learning, the name change is the result
of affiliation with the national network
of Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes.
The University of Delaware's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a program of the Division of Professional and Continuing Studies.
