UD Lifelong Learning receives Governor's Outstanding Volunteer Award

• Osher Lifelong Learning Institute receives Governor's Outstanding Volunteer Award
• We honor the memory of E.A. Trabant, the University of Delaware's 22nd and 24th president. Dr. Trabant, who passed away recently, was instrumental in creating the Academy of Lifelong Learning, predecessor of today's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

The University of Delaware is proud of its history as one of the earliest and largest lifelong learning programs in the country. These membership organizations are for adults 50 and over to take classes, teach, and exchange ideas. No grades or exams, no educational prerequisites, just learning for fun.
